Effect of Oat β-Glucan Intake on Glycaemic Control and Insulin Sensitivity of Diabetic Patients: A Meta-Analysis of Randomized Controlled Trials

Across four trials in 350 people with type 2 diabetes, 2.5–3.5 g a day of oat β-glucan for 3–8 weeks slightly lowered fasting glucose and HbA1c, but did not improve insulin sensitivity.
